I am a technology executive with over 20 years of experience leading infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and operational transformation across complex organisations in Australia and the UK. My career spans roles at WorkCover Queensland, ORIX Australia, and DHL Group — delivering large-scale technology programs and translating commercial priorities into practical technology outcomes.

At WorkCover Queensland, I led a $12M infrastructure transformation that reduced disaster recovery time from 24 hours to under 4 hours and cut infrastructure costs by more than 30%. At ORIX Australia, I served as Acting Head of Cyber, Information Security and Platforms — responsible for cloud migration, cybersecurity uplift, vendor governance, and technology roadmap across Australia and New Zealand.

Through Dave Peters Digital, I make that same experience available to local and mid-sized businesses — without the enterprise price tag or the agency overhead. Honest advice, plain English, and outcomes that make a practical difference.

I hold a Bachelor of Organisational Leadership (Distinction), ITIL Foundation, AWS Fundamentals, and CCNA credentials. I am based in Southeast Queensland and work with businesses across Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, and Brisbane.

Why Dave Peters Digital

Most technology consultants come from the agency world — selling packages — or the vendor world — selling products. I come from 20 years of operating inside organisations as the person accountable for technology outcomes: the budgets, the vendors, the decisions, and the consequences. The approach is always the same: understand the business first, then solve the right problem.

There is a particular kind of frustration that owners and operators know well. You are good at what you do — genuinely excellent, in many cases. You work long hours and care deeply. And yet opportunities slip past because you could not respond fast enough, follow up consistently enough, or be in five places at once.
